TNPSC Prepartion Guide

Question Topics covered in 2010 Group 2 exam:

General question Pattern:
I will say how to prepare for Group 2 exam from the analysis of last year group 2 exam question paper. The same pattern would not be followed. But nearly, same level of questions will be asked (It is expected). So from the last year paper analysis, you can schedule your self and allocate time and subject for preparing exams.

Now I just say you pattern. In next time, I will give analysised question paper and details about in which books, the question was asked.

In current affairs alone, 13questions were asked in last exam. So we have to concentrate on current affairs. I will suggest you some important topic of current affairs and give notes on that topic in future. Have look in this site.

And 19questions were asked in Tamil literature and Tamil grammar. If you have selected Tamil as language paper, then this 17 question would be difficult to you. (In total you would be able to attend now 30 questions (13+19=32)).From the 32 question if we prepare well surely we can at least attend 20 questions correctly. If we try hard, then we can get 25 questions too. It depends on your effort.

From science 22questions was asked in last year question paper. Economics covered 7questions, India polity covered 12questions, History covered 11 questions, Maths covered 10 questions, and Geography covered 6questions.

For the entire question from Geography, History, Indian Polity, Science subject was asked from school books itself. Reading Tamil books from 6 th 10 th standard is enough to answer the Tamil literature questions.

Candidate who are preparing for group 2 exam must read 6 th to 12 standard Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) books, Social Science books    (6 th to 10 th, 11, 12 History, Political Science, Geography). If you finish all the science and social books, then you would be able to attend the 51 question (expected so) as asked in last year question paper. But it is difficult to get attend all the questions even we prepared well all the subjects. But we can attend at least 40 questions correctly if we prepare well.

So in total, we can attend 20+40 question correctly. 60 questions are minimum level of questions. Depending on your effort, it would vary. We must not omit any part in question paper. Suppose if think it is hard to get correct 60 questions, leave your opinion. It is not hard to get 60 questions correct in exam. It is possible and I will say how it is possible by saying analysised report about question paper in next website preparation. We must prepare all the parts in question paper.

For economics 11 standard and 12 th standard Tamil State Board books is enough to read. As we does not have enough time to read, we can now omit economics part as 7 questions only was asked.

For maths, we must have general aptitude knowledge to answer all the questions. But also in maths, statistics questions were also covered. Even if we have simple knowledge about maths, we can attend at least 5 questions.
In total 100 questions are covered. And you can surely attend 65 question correctly in total.
I have given you overall pattern about last year question paper now. In next site, I will give you detailed analysis about question asked in last year paper. Next I will give question paper for 2010 also. As I said, I will cover two previous question papers soon.

TNPSC PREPARATION GUIDE

Self Tnpsc Preparation

1.General Knowledge questions method.
2. Current affairs for every month from 2010.
3. Question paper analysis for last two year question paper.
4. Syllabus for General knowledge.
And all needed for tnpsc group 2 preparations (soon).

If you prepare in planned approach, then you can find the simple way to get good score in tnpsc group 2 exam.. And also it needs good effort to win in exam. You can easily pass in exam. Before all this, you too have one thing in mind, i.e you are going compete with nearly 2 lakhs candidates in group 2 exams.

I will give a simple guideline to prepare..
Exam is conducted in two phases:
1. Written test (descriptive type).
2. Interview

Question:

Total question : 200
Total Marks   : 300
and Interview process takes place for selecting candidates for Job. Interview is conducted by TamilNadu Public Service Commission.

Marks Needs to be selected:

For all category students , if you get 160 questions right then you will have more possible chance to get selected for interview.

Idea for Exam:

Group 2 exam question paper will consist of 200 question in total. 100 questions from Tamil language or English language, and 100 questions based on general knowledge. First all, you must take enough time to prepare for language paper (Tamil or English).you must be able to get at least 90 questions right in language paper exam. It makes you easy to get good score in Group 2 exam.

So now you have to just get 70 questions right from the general knowledge part. It will be possible if you prepare hard every day for exam from the time of Notification to group 2 exams. Hard preparation does not mean Hard. In real, It is simple. 4 hours preparation for tnpsc exam is more than enough.

General Knowledge Questions:

In general knowledge questions , questions are asked from various part .Those parts are General Science, current events of national and international importance, history and culture of India, geography, Indian Polity, Indian economy, Indian National Movement and Freedom struggle, Mental ability tests and other related fields(Maths, Quantitative Apps,Statics),And Basic questions on tamilnadu is also asked. Above is Over all syllabus for General knowledge questions. Detailed syllabus will be given soon.

Following words is said in tnpsc website.20 % of the questions in this paper shall be exclusively with reference to Tamil, Tamil nadu, language and literature, culture and heritage of its people. So you have to concentrate on tamilnadu culture, literature and history too. Questions asked in various parts in general knowledge is vary from question paper to question paper in group 2 exam. I will say you how the question was asked in last year question paper and how many question was asked in last year question paper. Question paper analysis-ed report will be published in Next article. Have look in this website to know more information about tnpsc exam. Current affairs questions and question paper analysis will be posted soon. All the best for preparation.

Book Description:
Alexander and Sadiku's fourth edition of Fundamentals of Electric Circuits continues in the spirit of its successful previous editions, with the objective of presenting circuit analysis in a manner that is clearer, more interesting, and easier to understand than other, more traditional texts. Students are introduced to the sound, six-step problem solving methodology in chapter one, and are consistently made to apply and practice these steps in practice problems and homework problems throughout the text.
A balance of theory, worked examples and extended examples, practice problems, and real-world applications, combined with over 350 new homework problems for the fourth edition and robust media offerings, renders the fourth edition the most comprehensive and student-friendly approach to linear circuit analysis.
This edition adds the Design a Problem feature which helps students develop their design skills by having the student develop the question as well as the solution. There are over 100 Design a Problem exercises integrated into the problem sets in the book.
